Challah Bake
Join us for a very special Challah Bake program for children ages 12-36 months and their adult people! We will make our own dough and then be able to take it home to bake for Shabbat dinner! Come sing Shabbat songs, hear stories, and make your very own challah! RSVP Required. $5 per child – pre-registration required so that everyone can bring home their own challah! Morristown Jewish Center invites all families with children 7 years old and under to Thank G-d It’s Shabbat, Shabbat Treasures, on Friday, February 8, at 5:45 PM. Shabbat Katan is a monthly service designed for Preschool/Kindergarten-aged children and their families. Warm and spirited, this interactive Shabbat experience will include stories, prayers, songs, and a brief Torah reading. Stay for Shabbat Katan lunch and get to meet other families with little ones. The annual PJ Library Character Breakfast and Pajama Party will be held at The Hebrew Academy in Marlboro at 10 a.m. The free event includes a musical performance by children’s singer Sam Levine, character parade, and a PJ Library craft; children are encouraged to wear their favorite pajamas.
