East Brunswick Jewish Center’s Mitzvah Corps will sponsor the third annual Wine, Liquor and Food Experience on Saturday, Jan. 12, at 8:30 p.m. at the synagogue. Proceeds will benefit the Ari and Sari Horowitz Fund administered by Yashar LaChayal, with funds used to provide Passover food for needy Israel Defense Forces soldiers. The kosher event is being catered by Holy Schnitzel of Staten Island, with a mashgiach on premises. Admission is $55, $90 sponsors. Masquerade Ball

The annual PJ Library Character Breakfast and Pajama Party will be held at The Hebrew Academy in Marlboro at 10 a.m. The free event includes a musical performance by children’s singer Sam Levine, character parade, and a PJ Library craft; children are encouraged to wear their favorite pajamas.
