PJ Library, supported by Jewish Federation in the Heart of NJ, will celebrate Israel’s 71st Independence Day with a “virtual” trip to Israel on Sunday, May 19, 10 a.m.-11:30 a.m. at The Hebrew Academy, Marlboro. Activities will include visiting Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, milking a “cow” on the kibbutz, working on an archeological dig in Masada, learning Hebrew, and eating at an Israeli market. Gala concert
“Jewish Joy on a Summer Evening: A Gala Concert” will be offered on Sunday, Aug. 18, 7-8:30 p.m. at Monroe Township Senior Center. The concert will be presented by members of the NJ and Delaware Valley Regions of the Cantors Assembly, conducted by Hazzan Sheldon Levin and accompanied on piano by David Schlossberg.
