“The Amichai Windows”: A Morning of Poetry and Art will be presented by Rick Black on Sunday, May 19, at 10 a.m. at Highland Park Conservative Temple-Congregation Anshe Emeth. Black will read and discuss poems by the Israeli poet Yehuda Amichai and will display “The Amichai Windows,” a book of 18 folios that he created that contains window-themed poems in Hebrew with modern English translation, with collaged images of Israeli and Jewish life and history. The film “Heading Home: The Tale of Team Israel,” which tracks the underdog journey of Israel’s national baseball team as it competes for the first time in the World Baseball Classic, will premier locally this month. Directed by Seth Kramer, Daniel A.
