SUMMARY:Suicide Bereavement Clinician Training Program
DESCRIPTION:The suicide of a loved one can have a profound and sometimes devastating impact on those left behind\, and requires a level of support that often goes beyond traditional grief counseling. Yet one of the most difficult problems faced by suicide survivors is finding mental health professionals whose education\, training\, and professional experience has equipped them to work effectively with survivors of suicide loss. \nThis intermediate program is intended for licensed mental health professionals and others providing counseling services\, such as clergy. \nQuestions and Requests for ADA Accommodations Sylvia Heller\, MPH sheller@jfsmetrowest.org. \n\nThis course is approved by the Association of Social Work Boards – ASWB NJ CE Course Approval Program Provider #150 Course #2113 from 10/25/2018 to 10/25/2020.
