Scholar in Residence Weekend

Temple Ner Tamid, Bloomfield. Rabbi Jonathan Crane, Raymond F. Schinazi Scholar In Bioethics and Jewish Thought at Emory University, will discuss “Ethics In A Changing World.” Crane will present “Holy and Healthy Eating According to Judaism, Islam, and Christianity (and Science)” at 6:30 p.m. Shabbat services on May 31, followed by a potluck dairy dinner. At 10 a.m. services on June 1, Crane will lead the text study in a Casual Minyan, followed by a lunch and learn, “Trysts in the Garden:
The Nachash and Companionship in Eden.” On Sunday, June 2, he will present “Dying To Die: Jewish Perspectives On End Of Life Issues” at a brunch at 11 a.m. RSVP to 973-338-1500 or info@nertamid.org.
