SUMMARY:Rosh Chodesh United in Prayer
DESCRIPTION:Rabbi Feldman\, Cantor Warschauer\, and JCW invite TJC Congregation and Community at Large to a very special morning minyan.\n\nJoin us Sunday\, December 9 at 9:00 am as we gather in solidarity with the Women of the Wall. This progressive group of women gather at the Western Wall in Jerusalem every Rosh Chodesh in prayer and celebration of the new Hebrew month. For the past 30 years\, WOTW has been organizing women to pray\, read Torah\, wear prayer shawls\, sing and celebrate at the Kotel. And for the past 30 years\, they have been met with protest\, with objects being hurled at them\, by security stopping them. Simply because they are women. In an effort to educate the public and support the efforts of these women\, TJC is organizing our own service on Rosh Chodesh Tevet. The morning will include all of the prayers of Rosh Chodesh as well as special readings and prayers in support of Women of the Wall.\n\nThis service is open to women\, men and children including people from all parts of the greater community.
