New Jersey’s Women of Faith Discuss Faith, Social Justice and Sexism

January 29, 2019 , 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Women of Faith in Action, invites the community to join them Tuesday, January 29, 2019, at New Brunswick Theological Seminary, 35 Seminary Place, from 7:00-8:30pm., for a conversation about their experiences of being female leaders in particular faith traditions.

Speakers include Rabbi Ariann Weitzman of Bnai Keshet in Montclair, Muslim Community organizer Nadira Pierre, Rev. Karen Hernandez-Granzen of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Trenton and Rev. Tracey Brown of Ruth Fellowship Ministries in Plainfield. They will discuss similarities, differences and universal issues they face and how men can listen and take action against misogyny. Men are welcome.
