Lara Logan’s dispatches
September 26, 2018 , 7:30 pm
Award-winning 60 Minutes correspondent Lara Logan will speak on Wednesday, Sept. 26, at 7:30 p.m. at Har Sinai Temple, Pennington.
Logan has covered a wide range of topics from the Ebola crisis to stories on mountain gorillas. She lived in Iraq for almost five years and was the only staff correspondent from an American network in Baghdad when the U.S. military invaded the city, reporting live as the statue of Saddam Hussein fell. In the course of her reporting, Logan was sexually assaulted and beaten in Cairo’s Tahrir Square while covering a story for 60 Minutes about the Egyptian Revolution.
Janice Selinger, former executive director of NJN Public Television and current executive director of the Crossroads of the American Revolution, will moderate the presentation.
RSVP to 609-730-8100.
