Jews and the Enlightenment

Jewish Heritage Museum of Monmouth County, Freehold, will present “When the Jewish Mind & Thought Opened to the World, The Haskalah/The Enlightenment: Does it Still Have a Voice?” at 2 p.m.
The program is a talk by Rabbi Brooks R. Susman.

Susman is the founding (retired) rabbi of Congregation Kol Am in Freehold, and a community chaplain and volunteer on the Freehold Township Human Relations Council.

Funding has been made possible in part by an operating support grant from the New Jersey Historical Commission, a Division of the Department of State, through grant funds administered by the Monmouth County Historical Commission.
