Jewish film series

Highland Park Conservative Temple-Congregation Anshe Emeth will begin its 17th annual Jewish film series on Saturday, Oct. 6, at 8 p.m. with the comedy “Frank vs. God.” The screening will be followed with remarks via Skype by the film’s director, Stewart Schill.
The screening and talk are open to the public at no charge (an $8 donation is suggested). Upcoming films in the series include “The Midnight Orchestra” (Dec. 15), “Holy Air” (Jan. 12), “Commandments” (Jan. 26), “Humor Me” (Feb. 9), and “Shalom Bollywood” (March 9).
