ITaLYa: A Celebration of Jewish Music

FreeThe Italian voice and violin duo of Delilah Gutman and Rephael Negri perform a mix of traditional Jewish music spanning the globe. Their repertoire includes Ashkenazi and Sephardic music including Italian Jewish compositions. Many of these song titles appear on their new album entitled “ITalYa”. Rephael Negri is professor of violin, Baroque violin and Chamber Music at the Conservatory “Luca Marenzio” in Brescia, Italy. He has won numerous competitions, including those of Genoa, Rome, Taranto and Biella (Turin). In 2006 he received the Prix Anne Marie Bollo Rambaud, in Moneglia (Genoa). He’s violinist of the Tel Aviv Soloists Ensemble and also he plays with the Jerusalem Baroque Orchestra, Barrocade of Tel Aviv, Ensemble Ritmo e Anima of Beer Sheva. Delilah Gutman) is a composer, pianist and singer, active in Italy and abroad. She received diplomas of piano, composition and electronic music at the “Giuseppe Verdi” Conservatory of Milan. She was awarded the “Ambassador of Friendship Israel-Italy” during a concert in Eilat.
