Highland Park Conservative Temple-Congregation Anshe Emeth continues its 17th annual Jewish film series with a public screening of “Holy Air” on Saturday, Jan. 12, at 8 p.m.

Squeezed for money, father-to-be Adam, an Arab-Christian from Nazareth, comes up with the ingenious idea of selling bottled holy air from Mount Precipice to the city’s pilgrims. Adam’s intentions may be as pure as the air he sells, but success proves difficult, as religious and criminal organizations seek a piece of the action.

The free screening will be followed with remarks via Skype by Jonathan Adelman, professor at University of Denver’s Josef Korbel School of International Studies and author of “The Rise of Israel: A Revolutionary State.”

An $8 donation is suggested. Upcoming films in the series include “Commandments” (Jan. 26), “Humor Me” (Feb. 9), and “Shalom Bollywood” (March 9).
