Temple Micah in Lawrenceville will open its High Holiday services and other programs to the community at no charge. The congregation meets in the Presbyterian Church of Lawrenceville on Main Street (Route 206).
For Rosh HaShanah, study sessions with Rabbi Elisa Goldberg will be held on Tuesdays, Sept. 17 and 24, at 7 p.m. Selichot services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 21, at 7:30 p.m. Erev Rosh HaShanah services will be held Sunday, Sept. 29, at 7:30 p.m., followed by a festive oneg. Services continue on Monday, Sept. 30, with a family program for children under 5, 8:30-9:30 a.m.; services at 10 and concurrent services and activities for children kindergarten-6th grade; and Tashlich at the Institute Woods in Princeton at 2 p.m. (wear comfortable walking shoes)
For Yom Kippur, Kol Nidrei services will be held Tuesday, Oct. 8, at 7:30 p.m. Services will continue on Wednesday, Oct. 9, with a family program for children under 5, 8:30-9:30 a.m.; services at 10 and concurrent services and activities for children kindergarten-6th grade; Yizkor at 1 p.m.; a discussion at 2:30, and Neāilah at 5:30 p.m. followed by a break-fast (registration is required).
Free child care is available during the daytime services for children up to age 5; RSVP to the synagogue.
