DESCRIPTION:On Shabbat Ki Tissa\, Saturday\, February 23\, 2019\, we will be doing something radically different. Services will start as usual at\n9:30 AM with our regular order of prayers from the Preliminary Prayers through the Shacharit Amidah. \nHowever\, at 10:30 AM\, when we usually read from the Torah\, we will launch something different. Instead of the Torah reading we will be introducing: \nGOOD MORNING TBAY!\nThis will be a talk show format focusing on the Exodus story that has just concluded over the past several Shabbatot. \nThe host of GOOD MORNING TBAY! will be Rabbi Mallach and he will be interviewing two special guests. Based on the phrase in the Haggadah: “Each person should consider themselves as if they had been personally liberated form slavery in Egypt;” we will have a Refusnik couple from the Former Soviet Union\, Iosif & Esfira Froimovch. Rabbi Mallach will be asking them questions on how they achieved their personal exodus from “slavery” from the FSU to freedom. \n
