DESCRIPTION:Congregation Beth Israel in Scotch Plains will hold a free family service on Erev Rosh Hashanah\, Sunday evening\, September 29\, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. This child-friendly service is open to the community for members and non-members alike. Tickets are not necessary for attendance. \nThe one-hour service will usher in the Jewish New Year with songs\, stories\, prayers and shofar blowing.
