Cross-cultural conversations

“A Community Cafe: A Cross-Cultural Conversation” will be held by the Gesher Committee of Neve Shalom, Metuchen, on Sunday, Sept. 22,
2-4 p.m. The program is based on the World Cafe model, a method that facilitates community dialogue.

Speakers are Sheila Tabanli, a Muslim immigrant from Turkey and now a U.S. citizen; Deborah Bendayan, a Jewish immigrant from Mexico; Suleman Amoon, a Christian refugee from Pakistan; and Biral Patel,
a Hindu immigrant from India.
