DESCRIPTION:“A Community Cafe: A Cross-Cultural Conversation” will be held by the Gesher Committee of Neve Shalom\, Metuchen\, on Sunday\, Sept. 22\,\n2-4 p.m. The program is based on the World Cafe model\, a method that facilitates community dialogue. \nSpeakers are Sheila Tabanli\, a Muslim immigrant from Turkey and now a U.S. citizen; Deborah Bendayan\, a Jewish immigrant from Mexico; Suleman Amoon\, a Christian refugee from Pakistan; and Biral Patel\,\na Hindu immigrant from India. \nAttendees will be seated at round tables with others from various cultures and religions.
