Author Mary Morris: Dinner and Discussion

Mary Morris, author of “Gateway to the Moon” and professor at Sarah Lawrence College, will speak about her novel at the Flemington Jewish Community Center on Monday, October 15, at 6 pm. “Gateway to the Moon” is a multi-generational family novel that moves back and forth in time between the 15th century and the present, where it focuses on teenager Miguel Torres, who lives in a small town in northern New Mexico. Unknown to him, he is descended from Spanish conversos, but his heritage emerges when he gets a job babysitting for a Jewish family
Besides meeting the author and hearing her insights, you will be able to buy signed copies of the novel.
