Evelyn Weisholtz
Evelyn “Huvy” Weisholtz (Wiskind), 89, of Clifton died Feb. 28, 2014. She was born in Newark and grew up in Irvington, living most of her married life in Union and then Clark.
Mrs. Weisholtz worked for the Prudential Company and later for Magla Company in Irvington.
She graduated from Irvington High School.
She enjoyed summers at the Jersey shore and participated in activities of the former Congregation Ahavath Achim Bikor Cholim in Irvington and later at Beth Shalom in Union.
She is survived by her husband of almost 67 years, Milton; her son, Steven (Anne); her daughter, Judy (Paul) Playe; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services were held March 2 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston. Memorial contributions may be made to Daughters of Miriam, Clifton.
