Ethelann Moore

Ethelann Moore (Polonsky), 87, of Berkeley Heights died Aug. 8, 2018. Born and raised in Newark, she later moved to Springfield, where she raised her family.

Mrs. Moore worked at the Division of Youth and Family Services, United Cerebral Palsy, UMDNJ detention services for troubled youth, and later in adoption services and private practice.

She earned her B.A. at Kean College and her M.S.W. at Yeshiva University.

Predeceased by her husband, Richard H. (Dick), she is survived by two daughters, Sherry Moore (Ron) Humbert of White Plains, N.Y., and Debbie Moore (Joseph) Goldfarb of Springfield; her son, Robert (Oana) of Chatham; a sister, Judith Glantz of Providence, R.I.; and three
grandchildren.

Services were held Aug. 12 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
