Esther Nichter
Esther Nichter (Schneider), 103, of Vernon Hills, Ill., died Nov. 18, 2015.
Mrs. Nichter was a volunteer for The Arc of Essex County.
The youngest of seven brothers and sisters, she was predeceased by her siblings as well as her husband, William. She is survived by her son, Michael (Doreen); her daughter, Abby (Howie) Rubin; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services were held Nov. 22 with arrangements by Weinstein & Piser Funeral Home, Wilmette, Ill. A memorial service in Illinois will be announced. Memorial contributions may be made to The Arc of Essex County.
