Erwin S. Lebowitz, 87, of Clark died March 7, 2013. Born in Roselle, he had resided in Clark for 50 years.
Mr. Lebowitz was the owner of Lebowitz Graphics in Clark, and was also employed as a watercolor artist for Billboard Magazine for many years before his retirement.
He completed the arts program at Newark School of Fine & Industrial Arts, earning an AA degree.
He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Silverman); three sons, David of Marblehead, Mass., Paul of Westport, Conn., and Joseph of West Linn, Ore.; his daughter, Mikal Krauss of Atlantic Highlands; a sister, Bette Alexander of South Orange; and nine grandchildren.
