Eritreans to Morris Plains
Regarding Rabbi Moshe Rudin’s op-ed “African migrants face not feast of freedom, but famine of futility,” (March 22), it certainly must be wonderful to live in a safe community environment where the rabbi can enjoy hiking, canoeing, etc., with his family and solve the problems of the State of Israel as well. I am sure that most of the illegal Eritreans would prefer to live in Morris Plains rather than in South Tel Aviv and I would expect that your congregation is lobbying your government to offer them a place in your amazing town. What great insight you have provided to the rest of us Jews struggling with this problem.
