Emanuel “Babe” R. Blumberg, 90, of Roseland died Sept. 6, 2015. Born in Brooklyn, he moved to South Orange in 1953 and to Roseland in 1991.
Mr. Blumberg worked in the wholesale meat industry for 40 years.
He graduated from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pa.
During World War II, he served in the Signal Corps in the Pacific.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Norma (Barchas); his son, Neil (Maddy); two daughters, Karen (Harry) and Judy (Larry); six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services were held Sept. 9 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston. Memorial contributions may be made to Daughters of Israel, West Orange.
