Elliot Stempel of Longwood, Fla., died Nov. 20, 2011. Born in the Bronx, he lived in East Orange and East Brunswick for 16 years before moving to Longwood in 1987.
Mr. Stempel was a salesman for the Prince Gardiner Company of St. Louis for over 15 years, retiring in 1984.
He received a bachelor’s degree in marketing and finance from Rutgers University, Newark.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly (Eisner); his daughter, Debbie Liebeskind of Basking Ridge; his son, Barry Alan of Orlando, Fla.; a brother, Martin Stempel of Valencia, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
Services were held Nov. 25 with arrangements by Ross’ Shalom Chapels, Springfield.
