Elizabeth B. Brownstein
Elizabeth B. Brownstein, 93, of West Orange died May 19, 2019. Born in London, she lived in Newark, Hillside, and South Orange before moving to Short Hills for 25 years and to West Orange 25 years ago.
Mrs. Brownstein was a member of Crestmont Country Club for 50 years, of which she was a past president of the Women’s League. She was also a member of the Paralyzed Vets Organization and Diabetes Association and was an avid mahjong and golf player.
Predeceased by her husbands, Abe Nedick and Alexander Brownstein, she is survived by two daughters, Gail (the late Peter) Boroff of Springfield and Jodie (Scott) Winer of Chicago; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services were held May 20 with arrangements by Ross’ Shalom Chapels, Springfield.
