Eleanor Nochimson
Eleanor Nochimson, 89, of Asbury Park died Aug. 1, 2011. She was born in Paterson and lived in Asbury Park for 40 years.
Ms. Nochimson was well known in Asbury Park and was a friend all around the town, hosting many social events over the years attended by numerous friends and local luminaries.
She is survived by her brother, Stanley Nochimson of Florida; three nephews, Douglas Halpren of New Orleans and Bernard and Steven Nochimson; her niece, Linda Hillringhouse of Englewood; and a dear friend, Kay Harris of Neptune.
Services were held Aug. 5 with arrangements by Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Ocean.
