Eleanor Lewis
Eleanor Lewis, 68, of Princeton died Nov. 26, 2010. She was born in Newark.
Ms. Lewis was a former assistant commissioner of the NJ Department of Insurance. She later worked for Ralph Nader’s Public Interest Research Group. She practiced law in Princeton before retiring.
She was a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College; the University of Michigan, where she received a PhD in psychology; and Seton Hall University Law School.
She is survived by her mother, Hilda Lutzke of Verona; a brother, Arthur Lutzke of Amagansett, NY; and two nieces, Jessica Lutzke and Melissa Turowsky.
Services were held Nov. 28 with arrangements by Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, Ewing. Memorial contributions may be made to Benivegna Ovarian Cancer Research Fund at the University of Michigan’s Comprehensive Cancer Center.
