Eleanor Gelfond Rosenbloom
Eleanor Beverly Gelfond Rosenbloom (Gurvitz), 98, of West Orange died Jan. 30, 2015. Born in Newark, she lived in both South Orange and Boynton Beach, Fla., for many years before moving to West Orange three years ago.
Mrs. Gelfond Rosenbloom, a homemaker, was active in Hadassah of Maplewood/South Orange.
She was a longtime member of Crestmont Country Club, West Orange.
Predeceased by her husbands, Paul Gelfond and Charles Rosenbloom, she is survived by her daughter, Judith Chase of Maryland; her son, Richard Gelfond of Livingston; a sister, Mildred Holder of Boynton Beach; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services were held Feb. 1 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association or Barnabas Health Hospice, West Orange.
