Elaine H. Siegel, 88, of Plainsboro died Feb. 26, 2014. She was born in Elizabeth, where she lived for 61 years before moving in 1986 to Monroe Township.
During her working years, Mrs. Siegel was a bookkeeper for Abromowitz, a manufacturer of children’s clothing, and later for a physical therapy facility.
She was a member of Temple Beth El, Temple Sinai in Summit, and Congregation Beth Chaim in West Windsor, where she volunteered in their gift shops. She also was a member of National Council of Jewish Women and the Workmen’s Circle. She volunteered at the Elizabethport Little League concession stand when her son was a player.
Predeceased by her husband, Seymour E., in 2007, she is survived by her son, Gerald (Nancy), and three grandchildren.
Services were held Feb. 28 with arrangements by Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, Ewing.
