Elaine Hirsch

Elaine Hirsch (Sanders), 76, of Boynton Beach, Fla., and Beach Haven Gardens died Sept. 21, 2013. Born in Brooklyn, she lived in Maplewood for 20 years and in South Orange, Beach Haven Gardens, and Boynton Beach for the past 30 years.

Mrs. Hirsch was employed by the law firm of Shanley & Fisher as a legal secretary for two years before starting a family.

She graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1957.

She was an active member of Congregation Beth El, South Orange, where she was the sisterhood president from 1976 to 1978. She was currently a member of the JCC of Long Beach Island and a life member of National Council of Jewish Women.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Myron; two sons, David of Boca Raton, Fla., and Steven of Parsippany; and five grandchildren.

Services were held Sept. 23 at Rubin Memorial Chapel, Boynton Beach, with final arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Milburn, Union. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice by the Sea, 1531 W.
