Elaine Fine
Elaine Fine, 74, of Montclair died Nov. 28, 2015.
Dr. Fine had a long career in education. After teaching in the public schools of New York City and in colleges of the State University of New York system, she taught at Montclair State University from 1981 to 2011. She was a professor and program coordinator in the Special Education Program in the department of curriculum and teaching.
She received her doctorate from Teachers College at Columbia University.
She was a potter who ventured into the craft in the mid-1960s.
Services were held Dec. 13 with arrangements by J.L. Apter Memorial Chapels, Cedar Grove.
