Edwin Greene
Edwin G. Greene, 93, of Verona died Aug. 19, 2013. He was formerly of Livingston.
Mr. Greene was the retired owner of Caldwell Health Foods. He was also formerly employed by U.S. Radium and worked on the Manhattan Project at Columbia University.
He held a pharmacy degree from New York University.
He was a jazz aficionado and fan of the arts.
Predeceased by his wife, Gloria, and a grandchild, he is survived by his partner of 23 years, Judy Shneyer; his son, Robert (Susan Osmond) and Stephanie Greene (Gail Cyrkiel); and a grandchild.
Services were held Aug. 21 with arrangements by J.L. Apter Memorial Chapels of Cedar Grove. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jersey Jazz Organization, NJ Hospice, or PBS.
