Edward Buechler
Edward Buechler, 93, of Mount Arlington died March 6, 2013. He was born in Newark, raised in Irvington, and resided in Passaic, Cedar Grove, and South Orange before moving to Mount Arlington 40 years ago.
Mr. Buechler was an insurance broker for over 40 years. He worked for Tully-White Insurance Co. in Union and was self-employed before his retirement.
He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama and a master’s degree from the University of California in Los Angeles.
He entered the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was a member of the Masons.
Predeceased by his wife of 32 years, Florence (Ranzenhofer), in 1981, he is survived by two daughters, Fredericka (Anthony) Bergamo of Blairstown and Ellen Springer of Stanhope; his son, Daniel (Cindy) of Ventura, Calif.; and three grandchildren.
Services were held March 10 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union.
