Edna Bateman Burge
Edna Bateman Burge, 88, of Hammonton died Sept. 16, 2010. Born in Newark, she lived in Irvington before moving to West Palm Beach, Fla., in 1972 and recently to Hammonton.
Mrs. Burge was a homemaker and a member of the Deborah Heart Association.
Predeceased by her husband of 69 years, Ira, on Aug. 4, she is survived by two sons, Stan of Hammonton and Marc of Parsippany; a sister, Freda Weiss of Delhi, NY; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services were held Sept. 20 with arrangements by Carnasale Funeral Home, Hammonton. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Alzheimer’s Association.
