Dubious politics
Since I recently arrived in New Jersey for an extended visit, I’ve been hearing about redistricting on many of the TV channels. The whole concept of redistricting smacks of “taxation without representation.”
How can one vote for someone and end up with someone else? Does this bother anyone? Districts should not be changed for political reasons. At a time when the country is on the verge of economic collapse, it almost seems childish for both parties to be worrying about getting some questionable advantage.
