Dove Rockman

Dove Cheret Miller Rockman, 97, of Monroe Township died Dec. 27, 2018. She was born and grew up in Carteret and also had lived in Perth Amboy, Woodbridge, and Freehold.

Mrs. Rockman was a business graduate of Pace University, New York.

While raising her children, she worked as the bookkeeper for Garade, her first husband’s table manufacturing company in Woodbridge.

She was a longtime member of the sisterhood of Temple Adath Israel in Woodbridge. Later she was an active member at Congregation B’nai Tikvah, North Brunswick.

Predeceased by her first husband, Morris Miller, 47 years ago, she is survived by her husband of 20 years, Cantor Royal Rockman; her son, Gary; her daughter, Adele; and four grandchildren.

Services were held Dec. 28 with arrangements made by Crabiel Parkwest Funeral Chapel, New Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association.
