Dorothy Rothman Gottlieb, 97, of Boynton Beach, Fla., died Jan. 29, 2014. Born in New York City, she resided in Edison before moving to Old Bridge, where she lived for 44 years before moving to Florida.
Prior to retiring, Mrs. Gottlieb worked as a salesperson for Macy’s in East Brunswick.
She was a life member of Hadassah.
Predeceased by her husband, Irving, in 1986, she is survived by her son, Lawrence of Richardson, Texas; two daughters, Sandy (Mel) Weiss of Monroe Township and Rosalind (Edgar) Alster of Boynton Beach; a brother, Abraham Rothman of Boca Raton, Fla.; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Services were held Feb. 2 with arrangements by Mount Sinai Memorial Chapels, East Brunswick. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Palm Beach County, 5300 East Ave., West Palm Beach, FL 33407 or Hadassah.
