Dorothy Goorin
Dorothy Goorin (Roseman) of Monroe Township died Aug. 24, 2013. Born in Newark, she lived in Newark, in Union for 28 years, and in West Orange before moving to Monroe 13 years ago.
Mrs. Goorin was a legal secretary for Donald Rinaldo for 35 years, retiring 15 years ago.
A past president of B’nai B’rith Women of Union, she was a member of Hadassah of Union and a lifetime member of the organization.
She is survived by her husband, Arthur; her daughter, Shelley (William) Burns of Kent, Ohio; her son, Kenneth (Margery) of Sands Point, NY; a sister, Lois Scharer of Florida; and four grandchildren.
Services were held Aug. 26 with arrangements by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union. Memorial contributions may be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
