Dorothy Cohen
Dorothy Cohen, 95, of West Long Branch died Oct. 3, 2014. She was born in New York City and lived in Manhattan before moving to Queens in 1955. She moved to the shore area several years ago.
Mrs. Cohen was a clerical worker for the New York City Department of Corrections.
Predeceased by her husband, Hyman, in 1990, she is survived by her son, Robert (Maddy); three daughters, Judy Vinals, Beverly Edmundson, and Susan Samuels; a brother, Bernard Pivo; a sister, Esther Hecht; and seven grandchildren.
Services were held Oct. 6 with arrangements by Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Ocean.
