Dorothy Bieber

Dorothy May Bieber (Flaxman), 84, of Livingston died Oct. 10, 2010. Born and raised in New York, NY, she lived in Livingston for 50 years.

Mrs. Bieber was a special education teacher for the Livingston school system and was also a private tutor in mathematics and chemistry.

She was a graduate of City College of New York, where she received her bachelor of arts in education.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Harold; her son, David; two daughters, Ellen Bieber and B.J. Gedney; and three grandchildren.

Services were held Oct. 12 with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston. Memorial contributions may be made to the Eternal Life Fund at Temple Beth Shalom, Livingston.
