David R. Watson

David R. Watson, 91, of Boynton Beach, Fla., died Nov. 22, 2010. He lived in Newark and Millburn before moving to Boynton Beach 26 years ago.

Dr. Watson practiced dentistry in Newark, East Orange, and Millburn.

He graduated from Ohio University and the University of Pennsylvania’s Dental School.

During World War II, he was a Army Captain stationed in the Phillipines.

He was involved with the Jewish Federation of Palm Beach. He was a member of Braidburn Country Club in Florham Park and Indian Springs Country Club in Florida.

An avid Civil War buff, he belonged to the Civil War Round Table of NJ.

He is survived by his wife, Terry; his daughter, Carol; his son, Richard; and three grandchildren.

Services were held Nov. 23 with arrangements by Beth Israel Funeral Home, Boynton Beach. Memorial contributions may be made to Palm Beach Jewish Federation.
