David Forst, 83, of Scotch Plains died July 14, 2016. He grew up in Brooklyn.
Mr. Forst was retired as a programmer with Automated Data Processing and, prior to that, worked as a computer consultant with IBM and American Express.
He was a lifelong member of the Panthers Football Club from PS 219 in Brooklyn, where he grew up, and in which he remained active.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Lea; his daughter, Kara (John) Larsen of Wyckoff; his son, Jon of West Orange; a sister, Judy Topf of Florida; and two grandchildren.
Services were held July 17 with arrangements by J.L. Apter Memorial Chapels of Dover. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter’s Foundation, 254 Easton Ave., New Brunswick, NJ 08901.
