David Cohen, 73, of Edison died Oct. 10, 2012. Born in Brooklyn, he resided in Edison for 43 years.
Mr. Levy, a Certified Public Accountant licensed in New York and New Jersey, was a partner in the firm of J.M. Levy & Company, where he worked for the past 48 years.
He graduated from Baruch College-City University of New York with a bachelor of business administration degree.
He was a member of Congregation Neve Shalom, Metuchen, for many years and more recently a member of Congregation Beth Mordecai, Perth Amboy.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Janet; his son, Gary of Marlboro; two daughters, Risa Sudnow and Sharon Fredman, both of Tenafly; three brothers, Arthur of Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif., Paul of Somerset, and Michael of Silver Spring, Md.; and seven grandchildren.
