Dr. and Mrs. Daniel and Peppi Glass of Parsippany celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 25 at Woodloch Pines, Hawley, Pa. At the celebration were their daughter Julie Glass and her daughter, Delilah Locke of Potomac, Md.; daughter Nina Glass and her husband, Bill Howie, of London; and their son, Jason of New York City.

For 43 years, the Glasses lived in Morris Township before moving to Parsippany seven years ago.

Dr. Glass was a practicing orthodontist in Morristown from 1957 through 1987. He served as president of the Tri-County Dental Society and is a life member of the American Dental Association and a member of the American Association of Orthodontists. He was a longtime member of the Morristown Kiwanis Club.

Mrs. Glass was a volunteer at the Morristown/Morris Township Library for many years, and also volunteered in leading reading programs at area schools. She was the president of Morristown Hadassah and a vice president of Hadassah’s Northern New Jersey Region. She also was a member of the board of directors of Morristown Jewish Center Beit Yisrael. For the past five years she has worked as a long-term substitute teacher at Parsippany Hills High School. She also is a stone sculptor and has maintained a studio at Riker Hill Art Park in Livingston.
