Corrine B. Wittenberg
Corrine Bolten Wittenberg, 96, of Boca Raton, Fla., died June 20, 2016. Born and raised in Newark, she lived in West Orange for 26 years before moving to Boca Raton in 1975.
Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Wittenberg was an officer and general office manager of US Merchants, Inc. in West Orange.
She was a member of B’nai B’rith Women and Deborah and a choir member of The Jewish Center, West Orange. In Florida, her memberships included Jewish Women International and the Women’s Club of Boca Teeca, where she served as board member and recording secretary. She served Boca Teeca Condo Five in the same capacity. She belonged to Congregation Beth Ami for several years and was a lifetime member of the Boca Raton Regional Hospital’s “Debbie Rand Auxiliary.”
Predeceased by her husband, Jerry, and her daughters, Hyla and Debbie Wittenberg, she is survived by a brother-in-law, Harold Melinek; two nieces, Arlene Krislow and Marsha Niederman; a nephew, Michael Melinek; two great- nieces; five great-nephews; and four great-great-nephews.
