Tessie (Friedman) and Morris Constantin of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., recently celebrated their 70th anniversary. They were married Sept. 6, 1942, in Newark. Members of Congregation Beth El in South Orange, they lived in Maplewood, South Orange, West Orange, and Long Branch before moving to Palm Beach Gardens.

Working together throughout their marriage, the couple has owned and operated restaurants in New Jersey for over 50 years, including Stanley’s Restaurant in Springfield, The Penny Arcade/Casual Times in Clark, and currently Tarantella’s Restaurant in Clark.

They are the parents of four children, Doris Schwartz and her husband Stephen, Stanley Constantin and his wife Beverly, Eileen Sherman and her husband Richard, and Alan Constantin and his fiancée Cindy Day; five grandchildren, Marci Fox, Geri Davis, Scott Sherman, Stacie Mandel, and Justin Constantin; and 11 great-grandchildren, Jesse, Ethan, Carly, Jacob, Bennett, Matthew, Emily, Andrew, Dylan, Ari, and Spencer.
