LEGENDARY GRAMMY Award-winning singer/songwriter Judy Collins will perform at the 2018 South Orange Performing Arts Center (SOPAC) gala, Saturday, Oct. 27, 6-11 p.m.

Community leader Samuel M. Convissor will be honored along with Dan Arrighi and Sam Joseph; the three will be recognized for their long-time philanthropy and advocacy on behalf of SOPAC and the local community.

Born in Newark, Convissor is a humanitarian and volunteer with, among many organizations, the Children’s Aid Society of New York City, the National Office of Social Responsibility, and the National Urban League.
