Clarice Flexner

Clarice Judith Colton Flexner, 92, died Aug. 9, 2015 in Wilmington, NC. She previously had lived in Livingston for almost 60 years.

Mrs. Flexner was a lifelong member of Temple Emanu-El in Livingston, where she served as housing chairperson for many years. She was also active in the Kidney Research Foundation of New Jersey, having been one of the founding members of its Ruth Papier chapter. 

She enjoyed needlework and crafts, producing needlepoint works of art, crocheted sweaters and blankets, and beaded flower arrangements for her friends and family.

Predeceased by her husband, Irving, she is survived by her son, Richard (Jenine) of Oak Island, NC, and three grandchildren.

Private services were held with arrangements by Bernheim-Apter-Kreitzman Suburban Funeral Chapel, Livingston. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kidney Research Foundation of New Jersey
